Sharp unveils sleek new rooftop solar modules – “coming soon” to Australia

Sharp’s New High-Efficiency Solar Modules Coming Soon to Australia

Sharp Energy Solutions Europe Introduces New High-Efficiency PV Modules

Sharp Energy Solutions Europe has revealed its latest solar PV modules, the NU-JC440 and NU-JC430B, featuring rectangular n-Type TOPCon half-cut cell technology and increased wattage.

Both panels are n-Type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic panels built with M10R half-cells, offering improved performance due to different cell dimensions.

High-Efficiency Panels

The NU-JC440 boasts a high-efficiency rating of 22.53% and an output of 440W, housed in a sleek black frame with a white backsheet. On the other hand, the NU-JC430B is an all-black module with an efficiency of 22.02% and an output of 430W.

Enhanced Performance

Both panels feature a low temperature coefficient of – 0.3% /°C, enhancing performance in elevated ambient temperatures, a crucial feature in light of climate change impacts.

Sharp’s half-cell modules are equipped with three compact junction boxes that include a bypass diode, reducing heat transfer to the cells above, thus improving panel durability and overall system performance.

Flexible Installation

With dimensions of 1722 x 1134mm and a slim 30mm frame height, the NUJC440 and NU-JC430B weigh 20.7 kg, making them suitable for residential, small-scale commercial, and industrial rooftop applications.

These panels support various mounting methods, such as short and long frame side clamping, screwing, and sliding, enabling flexible assembly and reducing balance of system and capital expenditure costs.

Certifications and Guarantees

Both panels hold IEC certification seals (IEC61215 and IEC61730) and have undergone rigorous testing to meet international standards and withstand extreme conditions, including ammonia, salt mist, and PID resistance.

Sharp provides a 25-year EU end-user product guarantee and a 30-year linear power output guarantee for both panels, ensuring a minimum of 87.5% output in year 30, suitable for all European rooftop installations.

Future Availability

Currently listed as “Coming Soon” on Sharp Australia’s website, the NU-JC440 and NU-JC430B panels aim to expand the company’s product range, catering to residential and small-scale commercial & industrial rooftop installations while meeting customer aesthetic preferences.
